Ariel Kiley (E-RYT 500, Integrated Yoga Tune Up® instructor, licensed Yoga for Runners specialist). Ariel offers private sessions, corporate classes and workshops throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn at Equinox and in local studios. Ariel leads teacher trainings in Yoga Tune Up®, RxSeries and classical yoga locally and internationally.
Ariel participated in a full cadaver dissection lab with Gil Hedley of Somanautics Workshops Inc. She also starred in the Equinox Q-Blog video “Make Your Hard Body Soft” highlighting the benefits of self-massage on therapy balls (http://q.equinox.com/articles/2013/06/yoga-tune-up-balls).
Ariel is a prolific author, frequently writing yoga therapy articles that appear on Yoganonymous, the Yoga Tune Up® blog, and other publications such Muscle & Fitness Hers and various fitness books. She has also been featured on CNN, in the HuffPost, Boston Globe and NY Daily News. Chronicle Books recently published her first co-authored book “Smitten: The Way of the Brilliant Flirt” (www.smittenbook.com) about personal empowerment through the lens of dating.
Ariel is a teacher trainer for Yoga Tune Up®, HOSH Yoga, and is co-creator and co-director of the Dou Yoga 200-Hour Teacher Training with Yuuki Hirano.
Ariel’s professional mission, through teaching and the written word, is to help reduce human suffering on all levels - mental, emotional, and physical, while guiding each student to align with the truest teacher possible – the unfailing guide within.
